With Christmas approaching, please take this lead time into consideration when placing orders and planning deliveries for the festive period.

For orders required before our Christmas shutdown, our last delivery day will be Monday 21st December. To allow for the full 12-week lead time, we recommend placing Elegance orders by Monday 28th September at the latest.

SOLID BASE F/F HOUSINGS ARE BACK

Back by popular demand

We're pleased to announce that solid base fridge freezer housings are back in our range, alongside our existing vented base option.

While vented base housings remain the preferred choice for most installations, we know they aren't always the best solution for kitchens featuring skirting plinths or other continuous plinth designs. The vent opening can interrupt the clean line of the plinth, making installation more challenging.

Our solid base option provides a clean, uninterrupted finish that works perfectly where a continuous plinth detail is required.

Why choose a solid base?

  • Ideal for skirting plinth and other continuous plinth applications.

  • Creates a clean, uninterrupted plinth line.

  • Uses the same housing footprint, so it fits seamlessly into existing cabinet layouts without redesign.

How to order

Ordering a solid base version is simple.

Just add -SB to the end of most fridge freezer housing codes, before any variants, and you'll receive the housing with a solid base and standard cabinet legs.

Example: ABC123-SB

Fridge Freezer Housing Calculator

Our Fridge Freezer Housing Calculator will continue to display the current standard housing codes.

If you require a solid base version, simply add -SB to the generated code before placing your order.

Need Help?

If you have any questions about the new solid base housings or need help selecting the correct product code, please don't hesitate to contact us. Our team will be happy to help.

NEW APPLIANCE HOUSING CALCULATOR

The Appliance Housing Calculator helps you plan a 600mm-wide appliance housing by building it from top to bottom and showing a live visual of the finished layout.

How it works:

  • Choose a cabinet height (Short, Medium, Tall, or enter a custom height).

  • Build your housing by adding doors, drawers, filler panels, and appliances such as ovens and microwaves.

  • Add, remove, or drag items to reorder them, and select appliances from a list of standard sizes.

One item in your layout is always marked as Unknown. This is the component whose height hasn't been determined yet. The calculator automatically adds together the heights of all the other components, including the required gaps, and calculates the exact height needed for the remaining piece to fit the cabinet perfectly.

The calculator also checks for common issues as you work, including:

  • Appliances positioned incorrectly.

  • Doors that are too small (it will recommend using a filler panel instead).

  • Filler panels that are too small to be edged.

If it detects a problem, it highlights exactly where the issue is.

A live diagram updates as you build your layout, giving you an instant preview of what the finished cabinet front will look like.

Once you're happy with the design, select Export RTD to generate a PDF containing the cabinet diagram and a complete breakdown of all measurements.

This is now live on the info hub.
