SUPPLIER SUMMER SHUTDOWN


We have received late notification from some of our suppliers that a summer shutdown is affecting the lead times of the doors and accessories below. Please be aware of the following dates when placing your orders to avoid disappointment.


Hale, Bellever and Leigh
Orders placed by 5pm on the 27th of May 2023 will be ready for delivery by the 3rd of August 2023.

Any orders placed after this, will be progressed when our suppliers’ standard lead times resume on 29th August 2023. Hale, Bellever and Leigh will be affected.

Elegance
Our Elegance supplier is carrying out their summer shutdown from the 7th to the 11th of August 2023 and will re-open on the 14th of August 2023. 


Please be aware that lead times will increase by a week during this period.

All Elegance doors will be affected.



GABLE END UPDATE


We have updated our internal manufacturing software, which in turn means we have to change some measurements on our ordering system.
 

This means that when placing an order in the new updated system, the gable end height will not appear on the unit height.
 

For example, below in orange shows the old system and in green shows the new system. The cabinets, when ordered as BGE, will still have the extra 180mm added on as a gable end it just won’t show on the height. This only applies to BGE units and not to integrated plinth units as our bedroom units.

For example, walk-in larders are included in this change but keep the 150mm gable.

This change will go live from Monday the 22nd May 2023.



ELEGANCE APPLIANCES HOUSING - 3MM ELEVATION


To avoid damage to the door underneath, we are elevating our bottom fixed shelves on all appliance housings by 3mm in the Elegance range.

Please be aware of the height changes for the door sets above to ensure there is enough space in-between. There is 600mm between the door sets, not the fixed shelves (real aperture 597mm).
