We were thrilled to see some of the fantastic kitchens you have designed throughout the year. 

The competition was internally judged and it is with pleasure that we announce the Quantum Kitchen of the Year award goes to... Duchy Designs South West!

Congratulations to Duchy Designs South West for this fantastic design - your showroom award will arrive in January 2024.

Things we love about this year's winner:

• The social seating on the island. Having seating on two adjacent sides of the island creates a much more intimate experience.

• Combing carcase colours; using a premium carcase colour in the Breakfast cupboard, combined with lighting gives a completely different feel when you open the doors. Using a matching carcase colour on the open units above the ovens helps keep these open units subtle and blends seamlessly with the rest of the run.

• Using pilasters to support the island, negates the need for plinth, giving this island the feeling of being a piece of furniture, rather than a fitted kitchen. This helps make the whole space seem more premium.
