Following our announcement that System Six deliveries are now back on schedule, here is some further information on production levels.

Over the past few weeks we have focused on recruiting the staff required to increase production capacity to, not only meet, but exceed the current required level. In the last 2 weeks, 13 new members of staff have joined the business throughout various departments. These new staff include Cabinet Builders, Machine Operatives, Goods In team members and a Training & Recruitment Coordinator.

Over the coming weeks, we will also welcome an in-house Machine Engineer and additional Machine Operatives.

Despite expanding our production capacity, we are facing supply issues with various components/materials. The largest concern is the indeterminable nature of MFC board deliveries. Orders placed by us are not being dispatched in full, which is beginning to leave us short of material, Light Grey in particular.

The effect of 'lockdown' coupled with high level of demand throughout the industry after lockdown was lifted, is, understandably, the reason why MFC stock at both Egger and Kronospan is at an all-time low. Despite the challenges they face, both companies are doing their utmost to cope with demand, involving Egger cancelling their Christmas shutdown period in order to recover control of their order book.

Should the currrent situation result in delays to production, we will be in touch with you directly on a per order basis, with as much advance warning as we can provide.

Where possible we will offer you an alternative carcase colour. In some cases, where you have a matching carcase colour and the matching carcase is not available, we may be able to offer you an alternative carcase colour with a matching front edge. Alternatively you may elect to wait for the original colour to come in to stock.

This situation is far from the service that we would like to offer, but, as detailed above, external influences put this beyond our control. We will always communicate honestly and openly with you and do everything we can to find alternatives that will assist you.
