NEW EXPRESS BUFFERS

We are currently in the process of updating the plastic buffers used on the opposing side of cabinet hinges on our Express units. The original opaque buffers are going to be replaced with a new transparent version. While both options are fully compatible and serve the same functional purpose - cushioning door closure and protecting the cabinet edge - the upgraded buffer offers a significant improvement in aesthetics.

The new transparent buffer blends seamlessly into the cabinet design, offering a cleaner, more modern look without compromising performance.

Compatibility & Installation Note:

While the new buffer fits directly in place of the previous model on all new cabinets, retrofitting to older cabinets requires a minor adjustment. The existing 5mm diameter holes will need to be overdrilled to 5.5mm to accommodate the updated buffer pins securely.

This change enhances visual appeal while maintaining full compatibility and performance across our cabinet range. Please ensure this adjustment is made during installations on legacy units to guarantee a proper fit.

This update is part of our ongoing commitment to improving product design and visual appeal without affecting ease of use or reliability.

This update has been applied to all jobs that entered production from 18/06/25 onwards.
