We're pleased to announce that all Fridge Freezer housings have now been upgraded to include a vented base as standard.

Instead of a solid MFC base, Fridge Freezer housings will soon be supplied with a ventilated base. The integrated vent in the base negates the need for the plinth to be cut and a separate vent fitted. This upgrade noticeably saves on fitting time and ensures that sufficient ventilation is supplied to the appliance.

The aesthetic improvement of an integrated vent means that the plinth line is clean and unbroken, giving a superior look over competitor offerings and providing a sales USP that should be emphasised to customers.

When?

There will be a transition period over the next couple of weeks, which means orders already in production may or may not include the new base.

Orders scheduled for delivery after 01/08/22 will start to include the new vented base. All orders placed with the Sales Order Processing Team after 18/07/2022 will include the new charge for the fridge freezer housings and the units will include the vented base.

The legs supplied with this base are a different model to our standard legs, however they are the same height and have the same amount of adjustment.

You will notice a small price increase of £8.50 per applicable unit, to facilitate this improvement.

This change applies to standard, Aluma and In-frame (FF-) units. It does NOT apply to Express units.
