We will soon be opening our showrooms on a private, appointment-only basis and will be following strict guidelines, which we share with you here as advice only.

  1. When booking appointments, ask the customer to confirm that they and all members of their household are free of COVID-19 symptoms and not in isolation.

  2. Follow conversation with email confirmation of the appointment.

  3. On the day of the appointment, ask the customer to call the showroom to announce their arrival. Open the door for the customer and close/lock it behind them.

  4. Offer gloves, face masks and hand sanitiser  for the customer to use if they wish.

  5. Offer bottled drinks only, no tea or coffee.

  6. Accompany the customer while they browse the showroom and add a sticky note to all items they touch. These items must be sanitised prior to the next customer arriving in the showroom.

  7. Ensure the areas where you sit with customers have enough space to adhere to the 2m social distancing rule, preferably with a visible line that should not be passed.

  8. Any items that need to be handed between parties (such as a card machine) must be sanitised before and after use.

  9. Social distancing rules should be adhered to at ll times by staff and customers and staff will not enter the premises should they or their household experience any symptoms of COVID-19.

TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS
If you do decide to open - tell your customers! Don't assume they will know you are open - use all avenues to get the message out. Social media is the cheapest and easiest way to inform your network.
