Please see below the communication received from Uform regarding a change to their pricing:

"You will no doubt be aware of the exceptional rising costs of fuel, transport and electricity, more notably over recent months, and weeks. Operationally, we are investing in the implementation of more lean practices in the hope that we can absorb as much of these costs as possible. However, these latest increases are not adequately reflected in our May 2022 price increase.To try and manage soaring costs and navigate our way through an extremely volatile market, we therefore have had no choice but to review our current cost base.

As a result, we will be applying a 2.75% surcharge to all products from Monday 15th August. This will include ex-stock, paint to order, made to measure and specials.  Please also note, this surcharge will apply to all orders despatched on or after Monday 15th August, including orders that have been placed and processed prior to this date.  We acknowledge that our Paint-to-Order lead time is 4 weeks, so we have therefore taken the decision to implement the surcharge in mid-August in an attempt to give you adequate notice.

The reason we have chosen to implement a surcharge and not a price increase is due to the instability and fluidity of the market and the current global issues surrounding pressures on energy sources. The surcharge will only remain in place for a limited period while we assess the total cost base.

We continue to work tirelessly behind the scenes to innovate.  We have upcoming product launches which will be shared with you over the coming weeks and we’re confident that our latest additions to the Uform product portfolio will deliver on our vision of offering world class choice, quality and service to you and your customers.  We are also in the advanced stages of expanding our purpose-built automated manufacturing and distribution facility.  The 50,000 sq ft expansion and the installation of two new robotic paint lines will position us as having the largest painting capacity in our industry throughout the UK & Ireland and allow us to deliver more product more consistently to you and your customers.

Please note that owing to this change we will be updating the pricing of Uform products on our system to accommodate this surcharge on 15/08/2022. Any orders taken after then that will be delievered before the date of Monday 15th of August will be adjusted to reflect this.
