HEIGHT CHANGE & PRODUCT INPROVEMENT

As many of you are aware, we introduced changes to our Express range late last year. All housing units were updated to heights of 1825mm, 1970mm, and 2150mm, alongside the introduction of a 2.5mm gap at the top and bottom of all cabinets.

This was initially rolled out as a trial to help identify and resolve any potential issues before implementing the changes across our main range. At the same time, we have continued working on a number of wider product improvements aimed at enhancing installation, alignment, and overall product quality.

IMPORTANT HEIGHT CHANGE UPDATES

With immediate effect, all orders have been automatically updated to the new cabinet heights.

In addition, all quotes currently at entered stage will also be updated to the new heights. This is to ensure older dimensions do not carry through once orders are converted, helping to avoid any potential production or installation issues.

All auxiliary units will also be updated to match the new housing heights.

An updated Product Manual will be made available on the Info Hub at a later date, and we will notify you once it is live.

Updated Height Ranges:

• 1820 → 1825

• 1967.5 → 1970

• 2145 → 2150

2.5mm Top & Bottom Gap:

One of the key product improvements is the introduction of a 2.5mm gap at both the top and bottom of ALL cabinets.

This update will:

• Allow greater adjustment of doors and drawers on site

• Improve alignment flexibility during installation

• Make the installation of skirting plinths easier and more consistent

VERTICAL ALUMA RAILS

We are now offering vertical Aluma rails in standard pre-cut sizes, helping to reduce installation time while providing a clean, factory-finished cut for vertical aluminium accessories.

The new standard lengths - 1970mm and 2150mm - are designed to meet the majority of customer requirements. Standard 2400mm lengths will continue to be available using the existing product codes.

To order the new sizes, simply add the suffix “-1970” or “-2150” to the original product code:

• Original code: GPV2400MID

• 1970mm code: GPV2400MID-1970

• 2150mm code: GPV2400MID-2150

There is no additional charge for these new standard sizes.

DOUBLE DOOR UNITS

As part of the ongoing improvements, we will also be rotating the mullions across all lay-on cabinets by 90 degrees.

This change means:

Base shelves will now be only 20mm smaller than the internal cabinet depth.

The system already used successfully within wall units is now being extended to base units.

BUFFERS ON MULLIONS & DRAWER FRONTS

To further improve alignment and finishing quality:

• Buffers have been added to the front of mullions for improved alignment

• Drawer fronts are now drilled and fitted with buffers to ensure more consistent closing and alignment

• Buffers are also now fitted to pull-out bins and pull-out mechanisms
  

These updates are designed to improve both ease of installation and the finished product quality on site.
