Following a trial period before Christmas, we are now allocating AM and PM slots to all deliveries.
The aim of the morning and afternoon slots are to provide you with an approximate time period to keep free, so you are able to manage your time more efficiently and can gauge more accurately when a fitter is required on site.
On the day prior to your delivery, you will receive an email containing a report. This report shows the drop number (i.e. whether it's the 1st, 2nd or 7th drop of the day) and if it will be an AM or PM delivery (shown next to the postcode).
AM = 8am - 1pm
PM = 1pm - 6pm
You will notified separately with the name and contact details of your driver, and they will then be in touch approximately one hour before your delivery is due, to give you a more accurate delivery time within the AM or PM slot.
While this time frame provides an approximation of when to expect our Transport Team, this does not cover circumstances such as breakdowns, deliveries that unexpectedly overrun or other unforeseen events. If our Transport Team is delayed for any reason, they will be in touch to let you know if your delivery is being moved from an AM delivery to a PM delivery or vice versa.
Please let us know ASAP if you or your customer are unable to receive a delivery. We can then adjust our manufacturing and delivery schedules accordingly.
Please continue to complete the Pre-Delivery Information Forms and return them prior to the scheduled delivery date.
